Emily Rose Gwaltney
Emily Rose Gwaltney has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Evansville and spent eleven years in the design industry before pursuing her love of yoga and healing. While in the engineering world, she worked for consulting companies providing services including Golf Course Construction Management; Geotechnical; Environmental; Aviation; and Residential and Commercial Planning, Permitting, Design and Construction. She also worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation Materials and Tests Division overseeing the concrete plant audits and assisting with their contractor and technician certification programs.
As a yogi, she first studied under Leah Lillios and Liz Workman-Mead through Kali Yuga YoUniversity in Nashville to obtain her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Certificate in December 2013. She studied the Ataana Method Energy Healing through an energy healing intensive in January 2014. She went on to complete her Level I Kundalini Yoga Certificate through Kundalini Rising Yoga in Nashville in March 2015. Her most recent training was in Awareness Yoga under Corrine Champigny at The Ivy House in 2016. Since completing these certificates, she has taught classes at Kali Yuga Yoga, Liberation Yoga, The Ivy House, Kundalini Rising Yoga, Nashville Center for Alternative Therapy (NCAT), Summit Fitness and Shalom Movement. She also taught yoga at an after-school program for the Refugee and Immigrant Student Empowered (RISE) program through the Center for Refugees and Immigrants of Tennessee (CRIT).
Emily is skilled in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Sage50 (Previously PeachTree), and SquareSpace and GoDaddy web design. She loves to help bring your visions into the physical form.
